The Sky Is Not A Ceiling: works in progress

For what are stars but asterisks. / To point a human life? ~Emily Dickinson, poet (1830-1886)

2007 has ushered in a new attitude for my work and for my overall thought process in general.
Perhaps it is result of living in a new climate and consequently the refreshing outlook which seems to have accompanied the transition. Maybe it is the product of recent mundane activities; the daily efforts of picking up and reconstructing the bits and pieces of a life developed, over time. And then again conceivably it might be that my personal and professional perspectives have widened considerably, having become just lately enriched with the input of so many creative others. love what you are doing now, although it rather scares me, as well... such a massive idea around which to wrap one's mind... i would tell you (as i always do) to keep going and the pieces will surely fall into place...

madmen and witches and covetousness... oh my! but we all know that pieces and parts actually end up making us whole. so wonderfully refreshing to know that you have continued to grow and thrive no matter what life has tossed your way. i will always be a fan and supporter of you and your work.

With all of the terrible winter weather we are having on the east coast, I definitely envy some time for you, out there in the desert southwest. Some valuable art time, no less. It seems like the experience is amazingly good for your creative juices. When will we (the lowly plebes) be able to visit your studios? Soon, I hope.
