A Distinctive Visual Experience
We are the ever enthralled and captive, albeit passive viewers as the new spring season emerges in the colorful northern Sonoran Desert, the location of our new home. Very different from the springtime phenomenon which we happily witnessed for many years in northern California; equally as majestic... and as similar as it is profoundly different and unique.
Surrounding our home, amazing transformations are taking place as we sit, watch and learn. Pictures are taken on a daily basis and the inventory is verging on the hopelessly countless.
For your viewing pleasure, here are some slide shows of the blossoms and the incomparable beauty which we are privileged to observe everyday simply by trapsing around in our new desert domicile.

Cacti are so curious and these pictures of their blooms are quite beautifull too.

So now are you taking pics of flowers? Are they really flowers or something that we might find at Wal-Mart? (Not that I would ever shop at Wal-Mart).

It is okay to make art from flowers sometimes. Corny and predictable, but still okay.
Anyway the desert is way cool. But you know that.
